rifle suggestions update.

I asked earlier about the new bolt action 308 rifles on the market and many of you gave your opinion. Thank you! I was finally able to put my hands on the 3 that I decided on. Ruger american , savage axis and mossberg patriot. I have ordered 2 patriots in 308 win. I am looking forward to getting them in! Thanks again

I had the American in .308 but let a buddy talk me out of it! I have to say that I got a jackrabbit at exactly 300 yards with it. It just happened to walk out of the brush and park itself right at the target stand on my uncles range. Settled in on the top of his head and it was done. Kept the one in .223 and am currently setting my sights on another .308. The Patriot is at my LGS so will probably get it today.

I choice the Ruger American in 308 for my cousins high school graduation.
