I did that before. It tightens the checks to fit perfectly and there is no lube to contend with since the poly jackets are a barrier to the lead and bore. I fix the checks on the shank and size the bumped up 0.405" bullets to 0.401" while applying the checks with the LEE die. Done.

I might do some powder coating. I need a couple thousand of these for .40, 10mm, .401 Herters, .400 GNR (that might need special sizing - .398"), .38-40 too. I actually blew up my oven! I'm not sure if it was related to the powder but the element shorted in very dramatic fashion! I was shocked (no pun) that the 10A circuit did not trip any faster. I bounced on my heels as the lightning and plasma arced popped, THEN the breaker tripped. I about crapped my pants. I need to acquire another $25 oven. I go through phases. If I can get me a really big batch done up it might last me a year or two in that respective caliber.
