more and more people are like sheep

driving into work this morning, very seldom do I have any traffic problems. This morning as I pulled out onto Hwy 180 I was behind 5 cars, all doing 35 in a 55 zone where 60 is allowed. The 5 were scattered out 25 yards or so between them. There were several places where the second or third car could have passed the first car creeping along. But none of them had the balls to pass the lead car. And there was not enough room between curves and such for me to pass all 5. No matter how much I yelled and said bad things about the driver's mother he kept it at 35. As we got into the edge of town the other cars parted ways one at a time until I was behind the idiot doing 35. But by now at the edge of town he had dropped it down to 25 in a 40 zone. Typically it was a California Prius. Unfortunately I had to take another side road to get to the shop and didn't have a chance to give him a honk and half a peace sign. But that just reminded me that people are like sheep. They just follow the one in the lead no matter if they are going in the right direction or at the right speed or anything. They never question the leader, just like a bunch of damn sheep.
