with the South were mostly in the south except for Texas. Today conservative states are scattered all over the country, from Alaska to Georgia. That could post a big problem if the chit ever hits the fan. The South, if all states were clumped together could pose a solid front while scattered out here and there makes us vulnerable from all sides. Something to think about.
