My little M97 in .224-32 FA would shoot sub MOA. Astonishing for a revolver with six holes to align.

I just wish I could

Shoot as well as the FA sixguns! In all my years of shooting I have yet to meet a properly built sixgun or semi-automatic I could outshoot.

that can mechanically out-shoot one of those REVOLVERS! I remember as a kid with wide eyes how Weatherby could claim their factory rifles would shoot 1-1/2" three shot 100 yd. groups with their ammo or money back! A man had to work over his standard M700 or M70 to get it to do that.

Rifles have greatly improved, but for a revolving cylinder gun to be able to do that is amazing to me.

the true test of a "Buntline". The Ruger shot like a rifle. It was very difficult to send it to GNR for a custom project. Turning a blind eye I got it done and I'm pleased. It's a custom #5 .401 GNR now.

Shot 10-1/2" Super Blackhawks and long-range silhouettes. We had to have two separate guns as our sight settings were so different. Both of these are now 5-1/2" Bisley Models. One is a six-shot .44 Magnum and the other a five-shot .45 Colt.

HERE THEY ARE TODAY
