Some additional pieces recovered.

It's a long story but a 3-yr. debacle in my life is coming to a close. Thank you Lord! I have been able to recover a few pieces from a secondary family collection. At this point the chances of more is very, very, slim. I've pulled a rabbit out of a hat to get what I have so far. The rest of the property is secure and all is better than expected, a blessing.

We got the odd farm revolver. One of those odd Taurus "Judge" .45/.410 revolvers but this is the long barreled one, 6" two tone. It has fixed sights with a fiber optic front. I figured it a turd but was surprised that it pattered respectably and actually was quite useful in .45 Colt. The chambers are a strange mix of tapered shotgun style with .45 Colt step and throating. I sis a report on it several years ago and it will be fun to revisit.

My .338 Win. Mag. BAR was recovered. I was glad of that. It is actually a nice gun and pleasant to shoot as well as accurate. I remember Kase had a custom .416 Taylor built on one! I got another in .30-06 that will make good trading fodder. A couple old shotguns too. Roman cabbaged onto a Browining Gold Hunter 12 ga. synthetic to claim and Benjamin called an ugly custom camo Marlin bolt action .22 WMR with Nikon scope. My delight is the 36-gun Cannon safe itself, I really needed it. They had changed the combination and I had to go through the manufacturer to get a master code. The dial is not responding to my resetting a new code and I may have to get a new dial. I personally urge anyone looking at safes to get a dial style with back up key, not a digital electric solenoid type.

It was a blessing to recover anything at all and we have done more than that. Praise be.

The past weeks I have had to balance my life with working as a lawyer and detective to present my $300 an hour dork with material to make his life easier. Under the ruse of helping ME! The civil law is not absolute, it's fluid, and works better on the side of criminals. I'm still at it but things are coming to a head. That's the reason for my sporadic posts.

I'm staying at the house near Conway and in the "holler" I have no cell service in the evenings. Plan on getting DSL ASAP.
