Munden Action

I often read here but have never posted before.

A few years ago in a Birmingham local gun shop I got on my knees to look at the back of the bottom shelf where a few Ruger SA's were hiding. There at the bottom of a tag were the simple words "Munden action". It was an original Ruger Vaquero 5-1/2" .44 mag and indeed in the box was the documentation for a #1 Munden action. It now lives at my house as my perfect packin' pistol. My 75 year old hands don't like .44 mag much anymore but it is very accurate with .44 Specials. Best $600 I've ever spent.
