A time ago they dumped what was left of the las run of that .22 WRF for the old Winchesters and Colt revolvers. We got it about half of what .22 Mag was and just tried it to see.

The .22 Winchester Auto for the model 63 rifles was just a .22 LR length version of the .22 WRF! The inside lube bullet didn’t gum up the works as bad. I’ve not tried it but I bet in a apocalypse situation it could be fired in either the .22 WRF or WMR chambers.
