I made a discovery today...

Hello all: I think I made an important self discovery. This past hunting season…..sucked.

It seemed deer avoided me and this past turkey season will be marked down as unsuccessful.

Wednesday I took a day off and hunted wild turkey in the AM.

I called In a fine specimen and spotted him at almost 70 paces. I’m in all camo except for one thing. EYEGLASSES!!!!

I have a blue light coating on the lenses. I noticed in the mirror when I move a certain way I’ll catch a flash of blue-purple color.

I think they are seeing my eyeglasses. It’s starting to make some sense now. That flash of two blue dots in the woods would very well scare off any animal.

So now that spring turkey season is over, I’m planning to get a pair of plain eyeglasses. No fancy coating . Maybe that will work.
