high prices. let me show you why. We got several boxes of ammo in this morning, that were ordered Feb 3rd. All back orders. These are our prices, what is today's version of wholesale, the price we pay. All these prices are plus shipping.
9mm FMJ...50 round box...$21.50
300 Win Mag... Federal 180 grain...$31.00
Fed 308...$27
5.56...100 round box...$63
So there are no more $10 9mm, or $5 a box for 5.56/223 and so on.
Most shops have a 25% mark up (a person can't live on that), so multiply those figures by 125 and add in a couple bucks for shipping and that is what most decent gun shops will price those items at. And that is no scalping.

$24.95 is what I paid for

normally price items at wholesale or at dealer cost for the military or retired military. So you can see those are right at what I have to pay for that same ammo. Now take those prices you quoted and multiply them by 125 and add a couple bucks for shipping and you get the price we normally sell that ammo for.

Oh, yeah. Absolutely right.
