that has a problem with recoil. It is the model 1895 in 450 Marlin. The gun is "as new" with less than a box shot thru it. We put a muzzle brake on it for him too. The gun is perfect with no blemishes and never hunted with. I found several on the internet and the cheapest was $715 with 5 days left on the auction plus it had been hunted with and had lots of little blemishes and scratches. For those that worry about little things and think if a Marlin doesn't have the proof stamp JM on it the gun is no good (which is total BS), this one has the JM proof mark. A hard to find rifle these days and in perfect condition, plus comes with a new box of Hornady ammo. It is priced at $695 plus shipping. Call Colleen at 928-527-4100 or post it here that you want it.

The last time I saw a good horde was over 500 years ago

It is a brutal shooter but not overwhelmingly brutal! I figure it would be a great saddle gun but in the MR length, a little to long. Still, the 450 is a fun load to play with! Working on a friend to get his .444 to complete my collection of the Marlin big bores, I’m close, real close.....
