somewhat near future, some are quite far fetched, others are reasonable while a few are really good ideas. Of the 35 or so new guns folks would like to see Colt produce again, list 3 that you really think Colt might actually add to their line up. And be serious as we have to figure in the bean counters. And leave out the 1911 as that is already in Colt's stable. 3 series of guns that Colt would probably add in. Wesson and DW has a nice selection of some of the finest 1911s made. So will Colt make their 1911s and have CZ compete with itself or will Colt go in another direction with small 1911 type pistols like the old Mustangs and 380 Government and maybe the ACE? Or will Colt go in the direction of the popular 22 semi autos like the Woodsman, Targetsman, or Huntsmen? The folks at CZ have been smart in the past with their choice of firearms so I would assume they will choose the correct direction to go.

More unitized for production than hand fitted old Colts. I’d love to see the old Police Positive Special line resurrected but I think it takes too much skill and cost to produce them.

Back in the 70’s and early 80’s I was astonished how my DW M15 would shoot right with my Colt Python! The only other that could come close was the M27 S&W. The DW was a heck of a shooters revolver.

but if seen as historic then the 1860/1861 percussion revolvers which actually work out of the box, the SAA, and the 1911, and each made as finely as they ever were, with zero cheapening.
