I am at my oldest daughter's place. She apparently felt her old Dad was getting too old to be driving long distances by himself so she came to Texas and got me, drove me back up here.

We will be heading to The Shootists Holiday in a couple weeks. I am packed and ready for it! I am not taking a bunch of guns ... just a couple favorites. The 480 Achilles ... the Shootists USFA .44 Special Anniversary gun ... my Dad's old Single Six .22 ... maybe one or two or three others ... You never know what can come out of where ever.

I am looking forward to this Shootists Holiday. It was locked out last year. It's been way too long since I have seen some old friends. And far too many have crossed over the Great Divide since 2019.

We will shoot more bull than we do ammo, I am sure. And we will be remembering those who have gone on before us.

I told John Taffin awhile back that we need to tell those folks to stop dying. If they keep it up it soon will only be John and I left!
