But that is spooky. I'd shoot .38's in it. The fantastic thing about the Maximum, you can shoot about anything in it.

I was a bit surprised when I found my Custom Bisley single-six .40 S&W weighed about as much as a .357 NM FT model. The gripframe and other required parts are very close in heft. The cylinder and frame is just smaller/shorter, its still beefy. But that .357 Max. is over the top into the redline.
