Next week I'm off to AK for black bear. 2 nights in Juneau, then down to the Tlingit town of Kake on a Beaver floatplane with https://www.wardair.com/, then get on a 64' ft boat with https://adamsalaskansafaris.com/, 7 nights on the boat between Kuiu and Kupreanof Islands looking for black bear then a 12 hour trip up Chatham Strait and Peril Strait around to Sitka. I'll spend 2 nights there looking around and can get a flight to Seattle to start the trip home. I'll take my 9" no brake 429GNR Encore and 14" 8mmGNR Encore. I'll also take my 429GNR Ultimate 44 Prototype SBH Hunter revolver if we're onshore but not hunting. Should see all kinds of wildlife and whales. Wish me well amigos. I'll see if I can keep you posted, the outfitter said they actually have pretty good cell service in the area.
