The .45ACP is the Officer’s model. It was the first one i got. I also have a full size 10mm and a full size 9mm. I like them all, the 45 with the 3.5” barrel is my most used/most carried.

them for their frames to build our custom 1911s on. They were perfect. The holes for the safety, the slide release and other fixtures were perfect. The Rock Island 1911s are built far better than the new Kimbers. The company seems to actually want to give you a perfect 1911, again unlike a couple of American made 1911s. The Rock Island and the Ruger 1911s are, in my humble opinion, the best 2 factory 1911s on the market. The little Rock Island 22 Magnum is by far the best semi auto 22 magnum made.

very nice though a bit heavy because of the steel frame. I sold it for a Ruger commander LW. My 38 Super is the GVT model that I sent back to them and had adj no back type sights, and the Rock series trigger, hammer and grip safety installed. Also a polish. I couldn’t be happier!!
