Reeder Custom Guns - I initally passed on it but it's been bothering me

I need to go buy it at the gunshop. They had a like new all steel Lyman peep sight for a M94 Winchester ($60 cash and carry). It would do great on my .30-30 but does anyone know if it fits the Big Bore 94 .375 with the receiver humps? Mine is Puffy's old early model from the late 1970's. It's one of my prized possessions.

I've not drug it out of the safe to check. But it is still a good deal for my .30-30. I'd like to mount it and put a blank in the rear sight dovetail.

If I’m not mistaken post 1951- angle eject Winchester 94’s take the same receiver site as Marlin 336/1894’s. The Lyman 66 and I believe 1D fit as well as the very good Williams 5DD. Don’t get the newer aluminum Lyman get the old steel one. This is off the top of my head. I’m not a Winchester man myself I am a Marlin semi expert but converse with Savage and Winchester guys on all things lever action. The receiver screw holes are the same Marlin/Winchester.

we tried to put a Lyman peep on a Big Bore 44 in 444 years ago and if I remember right due to the hump it wouldn't work. Take your rifle into the shop and check it out first.
