there oughta be a law that anyone under 25 has
to take a course on guns and the real facts about them. EVERY DAY I get at least one young person with some knowledge he got on the internet (and that means it has to be true). Today it was 223 versus 5.56. I have had at least 3 or 4 young people tell me that if I shoot 223 in a 5.56 it will blow up the barrel. They also tell me they know someone that knows someone who had an uncle 3 times removed that had an AR-15 blow up when he fired 223 in it. I used to try to reason with them and tell them the facts but finally I got tired of trying. I just show then a box of PMC ammo that says in big letters 223/5.56 on the box.
I did have another yoyo yesterday tell me (in front of his adoring fans) that the 6.5 Creedmoor would shoot perfectly flat to 600 yards. On the new Hornady 6.5 Creedmoor Match ammo box it shows at 500 yards it drops 45 inches. "But (this moron answered) at 600 it is flat". At that point thank the Lord, I got a phone call that prevented me from doing something that I would regret, for about 10 minutes.
