I recently took a part time job in a LGS!
Just for pure fun on my days off. I’ve been a regular customer and shooter on their range for nearly 20 years! I spend a lot of time there and figured it would be fun on the selling side. It is! The commifornia laws are amazingly stupid, as we all know here, except for all the newbies that live here! Sure is fun to see them get pissed off because of the background check, 10 day wait, the denials that come back because of the check and on and on. Of if they get denied on an ammo buy. All you can tell them is they need to get involved and help get the shitty laws overturned! FUN!

just neck up some 8 mag brass.seems like that will fix you right up for ammo
I had a Custom Shop Remington 700 .416RM
It's a great caliber and the brass can easily be fabricated from many cases. I have read that is is more popular abroad than many might think. Not long ago Rigby brass was non-existent. Several old pros resorted to turning off the belts of the big Weatherby cases and "making" Rigby cases. It certainly can be done.
The .416 RM is effectively nothing more than an elongated .416 Taylor on the .458 WM case. However it predated the latter as an old Wildcat round. While .416 components are expensive, the brass lasts a good while, and if you pursue it, cast bullet shooting is very rewarding. I shoot a 375/325 gr. RNGC at 2100 fps for practice in my 20" Rigby BRNO 602 that Gary built.
