Made it home from The Shootists Holiday

This was one of if not THE best Holidays ... partially because we could not meet last year due to the Fauci Flu. I spent most of the time visiting with old friends.

One of the neat things was The Shootists presenting a .22 rifle to every young person under 18 who did not have one, along with a brick of .22 Long Rifle ammo.

During the week free .22 ammo was given to every shooter under 18 who wanted it. They went through almost 10,000 rounds I believe it was.

The Shootists were also able to sponsor more kids to attend Adventure Camp. The Camp teaches young people teamwork, leadership, patriotism, and firearms safety and marksmanship. We were blessed to hear stories of how their lives had been changed from some of the kids themselves who had attended the Camp.

It all went by 'way too quickly.

Coming home we were hit in the drivers door of our truck by a charging deer. Slight dent in the door. The deer limped off into the trees.
