Reeder Custom Guns - Does anyone else use a square notch rear sight

In conjunction with some form of bead sight? It seems to afford greater potential for precision. (But it’s difficult to photograph - the sight is twice as fat as shown) I like being able to gauge how much bead to hold over too. The main point is the greater light able to be seen on each side of the sight post.

Along with a Bowen target sight works for me. The round front fills the notch ,even on top and sides

front and there is way too much open space to either side plus at the top and bottom. Where do you put the gold or green bead? If I put it at the bottom of the circle or at the sides there is way too much room for error. I like the V rear so I can drop the gold bead down in the bottom of the V and I can still see the target in the background. Not for everybody but works for me.
