and her fight with cancer.

Hello all :
Updates have been lacking as it has been the same situation for over a month...It has been a rough go since Allison's ostomy surgery 5 weeks ago...She is learning to eat very small portions of food and learning what will work and what will not has been a real challenge with the ostomy and the drainage from her brain tumors but, Allie is always trying different things to get her nutrients.. she can't drink her fabulous smoothies now because of the constant mucus that drains into her sinuses from the brain tumors...so, she sits and sleeps upright as she is often coughing up the phelm... She had a Covid test as she is once again beginning chemo infusions tpmorrow for the brain tumors..Allie has been vaccinated for several months re. Covid..She will have 3 infusions separated by 3 weeks each as her body is so worn down,she only weighs 96 lbs. now we pray pray pray for the miracle she needs..She will then have targeted radiation for those tumors after the chemo sessions...and always crossing our fingers that no NEW cancer appears anyplace else !!! Patti came home Tuesday night and LIndsay arrived to be with her the next day....Linz can work remotely often times so that has really helped Charlie and i get a short break now and then. Patti will fly back to Allison on the 24th .and then we go from there trying to "tag team" with Lindsday's trips over to Allie...How Allison has been able to remain so focused on trying her BEST to beat this horrid desease is beyond me, there have been so many setbacks... each time she thinks she's jumped all the hurdles, another challenge appears..all of your prayers and good hopes for Allison help her get through each day....and after 3 &1/2 years, it's been a long hard road for her to be sure !! Allison's battle continues, her hope never dims, and her will to live "her new normal" never wavers...
