wants to buy a high dollar Jack Russell or if she wants to go to Africa as she did last year I don't say a word and I help her get ready. If I want to go to Africa or Australia or wherever she doesn't complain and helps me get all my paperwork together and usually does the airline paperwork for the group. That is the way it should be. Neither of us should tell the other what he or she can do. We both have one life to live, why not enjoy it.

CAN EACH MAKE PLANS WITHOUT "ASKING" THE OTHER AND IF THERE IS A SERIOUS CONFLICT WE CAN WORK IT OUT. I PAY LL TH EBILLS BUT SHE HAS A CREDIT CARD AND CHECKS AND KNOWS SHE CAN BUY WHATEVER SHE WANTS (WITHIN REASON). SHE ALWAYS BUYS HER OWN CARS AND DOES VERY WELL. CURRENTLY SHE HAS A 2014 Caravan and before tha there was the 2002 Caravan; 1990 LTD,78 Chevy,77 Mazda (mainly for the kids at that time). one time she told me. "oh I forgot to tell you I bought a boat for the church camp."

lion hunt. He has the money and was very excited about it. He just called me and told me his wife told him he couldn't go. He is not allowed to go to Africa for some odd reason. He just told her "yes dear" and called me back. GNR, like you and JT said, how can a man live like that? I probably pissed him off when I said "your wife married a man didn't she? When did all that change?" But he is scared shitless of his wife and she rules the roost. When she says jump he jumps and never questions it. So many men these days are scared of their wife and I don't understand it. He should just have told her "honey I'm going to Africa" and let it go at that. What is she going to do, divorce him. I doubt that. And so he has to sleep on the couch for a few days. Big deal, I sorta enjoy it, at least I did before my wife passed. Instead he turned into the cowardly lion, or I guess the cowardly pussy. I guess I lost a friend today as I have no respect for him not being a man and standing up for himself. Maybe I was just brought up different.
Guys these days need to turn back into a man and stand up for themselves.
