when buying primers off of gunbroker check them when you get them. bought some about 4 months ago. went today to reload and all 2000 had been shot then put back in the boxes nothing like ruining the day now I have to file everything with gun broker. and see what happens just wanted to give every one a heads up about the bone heads out there in the world.

The thing that baffles me about stuff like this

Is that it is literally more work to go to this amount of effort to rip someone off than it is to just do honest, constructive work that helps your fellow man.

I understand -- although I do not endorse -- the thought process of a clever criminal who scores millions or billions by heisting an armored car or manipulating the stock market. This just doesn't even make any sense from an effort/risk/reward perspective.

I would like to believe that all gun guys are straight shooters, but that's unfortunately a naive belief.

there are always going to be crooks, large amount

of money crooks or small amount crooks, like the ones that charge $9 for a cup of coffee at an airport because they are the only game in town. Just about every day I hear from someone that just paid a normal amount of money for a case of 5000 rounds of 223/5.56. The folks there told them they did not take credit cards so send them a cashier's check. That in itself should have been a warning flag but they did it anyway. And 8 weeks later no ammo so they call the number they called to order and it was disconnected. Typical scam. And the internet is loaded with them.

15 CENT BURGERS. NO DRIVE-IN. IT WAS A WALK UP WINDOW UNTIL THE LATER '60s AROUND HERE. WHEN I STARTED WORK IN 1956--BURGERS, REAL BURGERS WERE 15 CENTS AND COFFEE 5 CENTS AT THE OWL CIGAR STAR WHERE WE CASHED OUR CHECKS EVERY WEEK.

I just sold 2000 primers...

years ago I bought a very large amount of primers. I had thought I'd need them someday. Anyway, I'm not shooting as much as I thought I would so I sold some primers to a friend.

I also gifted him 200 rounds of 45 ACP that I had of reloaded ammo. I don't have a 45 so it's extra to me...
