I like the Colts but have a secret partiality to the 1858. That is a peach! I'd love to heft it and feel what that short barrel does to the balance. I'm used to the old 8" barrel military model.

They are fine handguns even today. I have to call Gary and pay for my little conversion job he did a week or two ago. I had forgotten about it!

One of my other favorites is the 1861 Navy with full fluted cylinders. I need to find one before they disappear for another 130 yrs.
