Gone are the days when we could order anything we want at any time. Finding Italian replicas has been especially difficult since the ChiCom Crud was given to us. Over the past nine months I have located 11 Cartridge Conversions or Percussion sixguns, however it was a matter of diligently searching websites. I have purchased guns from Cimarron, Taylors, Buffalo Arms, Fall Creek Suttlery, Wholesale Hunter, Cabela's, and then this morning I discovered Jedediah Starr Trading Company. In most cases it has been going through page after page of guns marked Out Of Stock and once in a while finding something available. Today on the fourth page I found a 5-1/2" Model 1858 New Model Army Stainless Steel. Diligence pays off. I think I can stop looking for a while unless someone somewhere has a stainless steel 1860 Army.
