AK bear story

The other hunter on my trip has done many, many guided hunts and he and the outfitter just went back and forth with non-stop stories. Here's one from the outfitter. He was stalking a brown bear and it went into a thicket, all of a sudden there's lots of crashing around and noise. The bear had come upon a napping moose. They came out of the thicket with the bear on the moose's back like he was breeding it. Claws dug into moose's shoulders, biting down into the back. Moose broke free and spun around but it was blowing frothy blood out its back. They clashed again and the bear killed the moose. The outfitter shot the bear and took the moose's antlers. Here's the full mount of the bear and the moose's antlers in Sitka airport. He said the hole in the moose's back was like you'd drilled it with a big auger.
