Pioneering Handgun Hunting. There were 1000 printed and they usually go for at least $200 and sometimes quite a bit more. The real rare ones were the books signed by Goerg himself. He died in a plane crash in Alaska shortly after the book came out and his wife signed the rest of them.
Gary, At one time I owned four copies of

but he was the inspiration that drove me to dump my rifles and pick up a handgun. I must have called him at home a thousand times just to talk guns as he knew so much more than I ever could. And all thru that he never told me to take a long walk off a short pier. Every now and then he would call and surprise me. One of the most recent times he called and said "you said if I was ever within a thousand miles of you, to call you, as I will be at John Linebaugh's seminar in a few days". So I went and spent 3 days with him. We went over some things he wanted me to do for him. Things like putting out the Howdah again. Putting his TC handgun tool back out and putting a Lee Jurras Memorial revolver out. He knew he was dying of cancer and was afraid everyone would forget him. Little did he know none of us could ever forget him, especially me. He was a fine gentleman and a friend forever.
In the pic, Lee holding serial number 1 of the Lee Jurras Memorial revolver just a few days before he died.

mostly handguns of all types, then you need all of John Taffin's books. If you are strictly a handgun hunter you need lee Jurras and George Nonte's handgun Hunting and also Al Goerg's Pioneering Handgun Hunting. If you don't have those books, you probably are a closet liberal and maybe gay.
Gary, Love how you put your thoughts in print cause
