Lee was my mentor of sorts. he never knew it

but he was the inspiration that drove me to dump my rifles and pick up a handgun. I must have called him at home a thousand times just to talk guns as he knew so much more than I ever could. And all thru that he never told me to take a long walk off a short pier. Every now and then he would call and surprise me. One of the most recent times he called and said "you said if I was ever within a thousand miles of you, to call you, as I will be at John Linebaugh's seminar in a few days". So I went and spent 3 days with him. We went over some things he wanted me to do for him. Things like putting out the Howdah again. Putting his TC handgun tool back out and putting a Lee Jurras Memorial revolver out. He knew he was dying of cancer and was afraid everyone would forget him. Little did he know none of us could ever forget him, especially me. He was a fine gentleman and a friend forever.
