I am at the hospital where I have been since 3 am Friday morning when Allison had the first of two life saving surgeries. It looked OK Sunday am but then two additional drain removal procedures and mucus drainage from the brain tumors proved to be too much. Her spirit remains but the body has worn out. She agreed to a DNR Sunday and has been kept comfortable with heavy pain meds ever since. She still fights with remaining strength but time is limited. She is the toughest person I have known. Fentanyl has increased. Patti just got back from her house and there were envelopes from you and John Taffin in her mailbox. Many thanks to you and John for all you have done and for your generosity. Will update after transfer to Hospital Hospice.
