For the first time ever, preparing for the April hunt, a leupold scope went haywire. It was a 2.5x8x32 Pistol scope ( which I use on most of my hunting handguns) I would shoot a few rounds about every 2nd or 3rd day, at various ranges on a 6” gong at the 100 yard backstop. One day I missed, so I paid more attention, and really missed……WTF? Put out a large piece of cardboard, with a target. I was shooting high left, by two feet. Took it in the shop , everything’s tight. Bore sighted it, and adjusted it. First shot a couple inches off, adjustments, next shot wayyyyy high left, one more shot, off the 3’x4’ cardboard. After returning from Africa I mailed it to Leupold for warranty. The only Leupold I’ve ever sent back in my many years. I just received a call from Leupold today, their only question was would I like a silver or black scope. There sending me a new replacement now. Talk about a great warranty.

just about every scope brand on the market.

They treat used scopes the same way. I asked them,

"What do you not cover?", and was told that so long as it did not appear I had taken a framing hammer to it, it likely was covered.
