There a couple areas in Vermont western Rutland County (west haven mostly). There used to be a bounty on them but now the state protects the damn things too many flattlanders/Bernie supporters moved in ruined the state.
I know they are in Central NY and the Hudson

Valley. Cross over into PA and they are there. Haven't seen one of those cursed reptiles since I left Texas after training.
