1858 Peitta Sheriff just like yours. Think i need a few more 1858s in my stable. Thanks for your insight,knowledge, and rekindling my interest in BP revolvers. (BP guns have been hiding in the back of gun safe)

That grip and guard wouldn't be whacking anyone's knuckle. I read Bill Ruger copied the Remington grip/trigger guard largely for the little Bearcat.
I know Navy Arms imported the Remington 1875 copy in .357,.44-40, and .45 Colt. I've always wanted to try one.
Hey this Spankinburger feller says there is no 1858 Remington other than the Navy Arms clone. He calls them the New Army '61 model. Have you ever heard that story?
