Bullets. I was able to grab 3 boxes today. Asking $60 per box, what I paid for them.

I finally (thanks to you Misfits) found a couple of boxes and some loose bullets for my lion hunt. When I got with Steve Hornady to see if he had any of these bullets he was trying to find some himself for his Africa hunt that he is probably on the way to right now. He owns Hornady and he couldn't even find any. He finally found some loose from an employee. He found 41 bullets and is sending me 20 of them for my Africa hunt. Here is Steve's note...

I can sympathize. I’m leaving for Africa week from tomorrow and needed some 375 Ruger ammo and we were out so I told the guys to handload some and we didn’t have any bullets! Ended up some of our people had a stash at home so I was able to get enough for my trip. Saying all that to tell you I don’t have two boxes to send, I don’t have one box! but I do have 20 bullets which I will send. I am sorry I can’t do better but with everything going on last year we didn’t run quite a few items since the demand was so low and now we can’t catch up!

So if any of you guys are hunting anything big this fall, grab these bullets from Dan. With the shortages there probably won't be any available for at least a couple of years. To me this is the best 375 caliber bullet on the market.
