Reeder Custom Guns - I accidentally bought this little piece

Perhaps some of you guys have done that. Doug bids on stuff all the time, and has the fun of the play, the excitement, and gets outbid in the end for some harmless fun. I shoot a low bid and win every time. But it was worth what I paid.

But I'm a sucker for little guns with fitted boxes. It's more a novelty but sure would make a racket and I'd not want to stop a 550 fps 60 gr. bullet with my hide. Not to mention the ball is a bit nasty with residue and liniment salve.

Its a baby Remington copy with spur trigger. I'd prefer steel frame but this will do for the fun.

the other way around I guess. My old Lyman BP book lists velocities of 400-600 fps I think. *That's potentially bouncing back at you if you shoot plywood etc.!!! I have an old 15 gr. FFFg spout someplace. I use it on my CVA .32 rifle. The 15 gr. is sub-sonic, and the 27 gr. flask spout goes K-boom, super-sonic 1100+ fps. Super sonic it packs a pretty serious punch!

It's pretty laid back for some backyard fun in these too serious times.
