is normal. Just make it Alcorn or "that guy from Mississippi".
As far as the calibers. I am not sure what my guys are bringing for the African lion hunt. Mine are the 378 GNR in an encore. The 510 GNR in an open sighted revolver and the 429 GNR in a scoped revolver. The 378 GNR with a 300 grain Hornady DGX, Dangerous Game Expanding. The 510 GNR with a 350 grain JSP and not sure on the 429 GNR yet. I am bringing 20 rounds of each of these calibers.

I am not sure what Erik, Nick, Michael or Blake are bringing. Maybe they will see this and post their choices.

Shooting 500gr Hornady DGX to 1900fps. Taking 3 back up scopes and some internal spare parts for the barrel and frame. As it’s my only handgun and my primary gun. [image]

Taking my #1 Reeder Mega beast in 470 Nitro Express for my backup gun and the nostalgia of having a 470NE that I once tuck to Africa on a lion hunt!

as well show 2 of mine. These are old pics from a while back and not the greatest pics but.....I brought my 429 GNR and 510 GNR up to the shop today to do some test firing. I don't have the 378 GNR encore with me. Here is the 429 GNR. It is marked 454 as the people in Africa are checking headstamps from time to time and the headstamp on the 429 is 454.First here are the 2 revolvers I will be bringing.

Here is the 510 GNR. It is marked 500 Linebaugh as that caliber is in the book of calibers in Africa. The marked calibers will be removed and the correct calibers put on when we get back. Sometimes we have to jump thru hoops to get our firearms in the country. Just like the revolvers all have to have at least an 8" barrel to be legal.

Playing with bullets that will open up a bit, as I usually go with a more solid
Configuration. Got some Hawk Flat Soft points coming for the 510 to test.
