of the pistol somewhere

it will be my side arm when we go out to our remote mine in a couple of weeks. when we went out in july,one of
our group was onthe bobcat moving dirt, and a grizz that he estimates was about 800 pounds sauntered through the camp !

we will be working a bit and also hunting for caribou and grouse and ptarmigan.

got a moose there last fall when we were closing up the cabin. used a marlin 36ER in 356 Winchester. one shot put him down.
