How it the crimping method managing?

I cast the Lyman 43 gr. RN that is very uninspiring. But I found a way to utilize my LEE .224" sizer die to hold the bullets in position and concentric while I use a brass punch to tap a HP into the bullet. The rod/punch is adjusted in depth of the HP penetration by adjusting the die body in relation to the press ram being all the way elevated and the rod tapped flush with the die body.

It works wonderfully and makes that ugly RN into a serious performing HP

I'm curious how the lube in grooves will work compared to what we typically get with commercial lead .22 LR. Also curious how ALOX or polymer/powder coat would work. Might not be worth the extra work of polymer/powder coat.
