I loaded some of the 36 gr. hollowpoint bullets with Lil'Gun .. 1.6 grains. I was not sure if it would work or not so I decided to test one in the shop. I piled up some old rags .. a pair of worn out levi's .. shirt .. made a stack about a foot thick to shoot into.
Last time I did this with case full of Pyrodex the bullet stopped about 6" into the rags.
Not this time.
It sailed through all the clothing and on into a storage bin I had used as a backstop just in case. The bullet went through the side of the plastic storage bin, entered a large cardboard box filled with papers, made its way through all that and out the other side of the cardboard box, hitting the inside of the storage bin. I found the bullet in the bottom of the bin.

Always make sure you have an emergency backstop ... just in case.
