The clarifications.

It is a bit trying to use the internet for research with all the misinformation. It can still be successful but it does require some effort and basic intelligence to root out facts without bias. Even the bias of the researcher, you have to have a scientific method mentality and let the data show the outcome.

I guess it existed with books to some extent (misinformation) but it seemed that folks smart and determined enough to write and get a book published were also of a type to get their facts straight in the process.

My library, while bulky and archaic, still has some valued validity. The Taffin works are paramount in the handgun/levergun field of study. Heck, the pictures are going to be even more appreciated in the future. The simple assemblage of such pieces in one work.
