My friend wanted to by one of my motorcycles (Triumph Speedmaster) and came to sell some guns to another friend in the the business. (BTW - two gun shops in our town have folded in disdain not being able to order and receive stock.) I'm surprised as both also did pawn brokering. He got that done and gave me some dosh to pay some bills. The motorcycle insurance and license were due this month anyway. I did end up buying a Kahr MK9 from him as the shop did not really want it for their stock. A bit pricey and exotic for what it was, but I have a collection of them. It's like putting cash in a savings account, nothing lost and the interest is fun.

I also snapped up a couple of these little gems. I could not resist. One for a K-frame and another for my Colt Officer's model .22.

With a pocket full of money I was able to resist so far. I offered him $600 for the 1849 once since it has the most pristine bore I have ever seen on an original. The timing is just a teeny bit lazy and the hammer screw needs replacing. It might be troublesome to remove. That's why it needs replacing. He hinted at $700, trying to get me to say it.

Were I back in the 1870's and no "new" SAA's around I might be armed with a 1862 police. It's a Goldilocks gun, just right.
