I shoot a lot of .429 GNR. Of course I also have a bunch of .45 Colts, even though I'm truly a .44 man. I just felt I needed one. When I got my mitts on it I had forgotten how BIG it was, lots more beefy than a Ruger SBH, as it SHOULD be. But what a rig. Easily scopeable and more accurate than most bolt action rifles.

I promptly sent it to Uncle Gary for some showy stags and his special grip treatment that worked so good Bob asked to mimic it at the factory. He'll get to it soon and I'm sure post some pics. To me it will be the ultimate .454 for my uses.

I've been too busy lately and hope things will slow down some. I only thought I was done climbing that corporate ladder. Now they are actually making me work. I found my .410 wads and figured what to do next on the all brass shotshells, just need to do it. The wife and her family along with two kids ran off to FL for 10 days and I'm trying to do it all while they are gone. I've got three yards to mow and 26 goats, fowl, and a bunch of farm cats to maintain - then I got to work! Sounds like Gary's busy day?! Only less fun.
