I have a shooter grade 2nd Gen 4 3/4" incoming, which will need new grips. I have fit SAA and Ruger grips before, but it has been a while, and no recent experience with more recent makers. Will be quite happy with plain walnut on this one.

Also know Colts take fitting and none or nearly none are alike, but also know some previous replacements tried have been horrible for initial placement, while some have been far better on several guns, and wondering if anyone has any recommendations, and thanks in advance for any suggestions.

get Reeder's guys to make you a set of really

I don't do one piece grips for the Colt SAAs and I have to have the gun in here to fit the grips perfectly. But thanks again James.

If anyone told me they could fit a SAA without

the gun, they would never hear from me again. I would send the gun to you, but really enjoy shaping grips for my own mutant (and now arthritic) hands.
