and otherwise restore old Colts. ANYTHING with the Turnbull name on a refinish commands a premium and I guess they do very good work, but it costs too. If Gary still takes on projects like that I think he can do just as well, and at a better price point, faster.

IF a guy can find a good foundation Colt Bisley for the $1500 range and have it professionally refinished he might still be on the good side of $1000 profit. It's hard to sell high end but they are seemingly bringing it. Old Colts out pace the stock market as investments on a regular basis.
