I'll let you know how it goes. She wants a semi-auto that is medium sized but caters to someone with limited hand strength. She really has problems pulling back a slide. Weight needs to be in the 20 oz. range too. Or she might not want to carry it. Then what good is it.
The Easy-slide S&W will be a first check as will the Ruger and Taurus offerings. I'd like to see her use a 9mm but I guess .380 is OK if that is what she wants. It's 100% her decision. She carried a 17 shot Walther/Magnum Research MR9 to Ft. Myers and back. (In a "Sticky brand" belly band system) But I think it a bit complicated with the trigger system and too big.
