I thought it was for a Walther but my PA63 was way too big, not close. I came to think it was for a 4” .45/410 Bond Derringer? Could it be?

Also I’ve had this Hornady catalog in the bathroom for like 3 yrs. I just noticed this FA83 scope mount I’ve never seen before. A bit of a cantilever, which I kind of like. It looks sturdy, anyone know what model of base it is?

The TSOB is a cantilever. And has a step to lock

Against the front of the frame. Looks a little more asteticly pleasing than leaving a space between the barrel and mount.

Wasn't that a JDJ setup?

Sure is uncharacteristic for JD

Close ring spacing and not enough room for 6 rings! lol Looks cast not machined. Aluminum? It sort of looks steel. Leupold rings too, and scope.

It is SSK TSOB

Not a TSOB, Lovel or Leupold - at least

it doesn't look like the samples of those I have.

Weigand? They made one in the past, but I never owned one. My memory says they were similar to a TSOB.

It looks like side screws hold the DT rings in place.

The rings look like Leupold and since the scope is too...

That material looks like steel as to the color tone compared to the gun. It's shape also looks more cast than machined. Very interesting.

I own several SSK T’SOB mounts and that’s not one of them. I’ve never seen a mount like that. Maybe it’s some type of prototype.

we have some of them at the shop that we

have pulled off customer's guns and replaced with Leupold. The ones we have at the shop are all aluminum. Don't remember the name brand if there is one on it.

Holster looks exactly like a bond arms
