I killed a nice size Javelina with one some years ago. They would come in the yard .. fight with the dogs and eat the dog food. I got tired of the noise about 1AM one night and got up with my old single shot .22 rifle. Had a flat nose standard velocity .22 in it. Went out and shot into the bunch and they ran off. I went back to bed and in the morning found one laying dead in the yard. So we ate it. I recovered the bullet and think I still have it. If I can find it I will post a picture of it.
