Just something to tinker with...
I'm not a big shotgun guy and have never been too much of a 20 bore fan, but I find I have three of them. One is a 19" DB Savage, sort of a custom. It's neat but I don't use it much. I have always love the idea of little converters as a novelty. I have a 9" 12 ga. to .44 Magnum converter that would do fine for hunting. The ballistics are full equal to a Contender.
I ordered a brace of these to go into the double 20. My attempt to form a play poor man's double rifle for backyard charges of Tigers and wild Elephants. We'll see if the "snubby" rifled adapters live up to the $25 price.

Another that caught my eye was the .30-06 to .32 ACP. They have made these for years and the bullet diameters are compatible. Although it begs for a .327 Federal reaming. It might make some fun range time with the old bolt action hunting rifle. They also offer it in 8x57 to .32 ACP but the merits of a .311 bullet rattling down a .323 bore escape me. In reality some of the lands would likely grab the bullet but not seal gases for sure.
