The little 20 DB
It’s a Steven’s! The less expensive version of the Savage 311. Cheaper wood devoid of the checkering. I think it’s the same frame as the Steven’s post war 5100 16 ga. I own. The .410s I have examined look to be about the same size frame but the styling is a little different. Maybe it’s just the different decades of development.
I almost cried chopping the tubes for Doug. He originally bought the piece with customizing intentions, I was a reluctant accomplice. But it added desirability and value, incredibly. 19” tubes with the voids filled at the end and a high dollar glowing front sight. I hope to have fun with the .357 inserts. It still patterns wonderfully I.C. And slugs don’t cross until beyond 50+ yds.
