in with the 350 grain JSP. It should do very well as this gun really likes the 350 grain bullets. This will be my back up for the lion in about 4 weeks. My main gun is the 378 GNR with 300 grain Hornady Dangerous Game Expanding bullets. I think I have plenty of power at hand but like the guys said down below when you have a 600 lb lion running at you, it comes down to being used to the gun and you can't just hope you blow up his heart. You have to break him down and then kill him. I will have 1 shot with the Encore, then it is up to the 510 GNR.
So I am depending on the 350 grain JSP bullets in .510 caliber for this big cat. I am loading the same load I load with the 350 grain hard cast gas check bullets. So thanks for the bullets.
